The Schematic Showdown by Westminster Robotics Society brought physics to life for our IGCSE and A-Levels students!

After a quick hands-on workshop introducing components, symbols, and breadboarding techniques – conducted by our AS student, Umer Farooq – Vice President of the Robotics Society – teams jumped straight into the challenge, interpreting electronic schematic diagrams and transforming them into fully functioning circuits.

With live schematics displayed and the clock ticking, the competition grew more intense as the circuits became increasingly complex.

Congratulations to the winning team – Saad Rashid & Faris Nasir from AS – for their outstanding performance!

A brilliant blend of learning and excitement, the event showcased teamwork, problem-solving, and real-world application of classroom concepts – engineering in action!
