Westminster Culinary Society

Cooking seems like that mundane task that everybody does to survive. However, it can also be therapeutic as cooking engages the senses, relieves stress and boosts our mood! Here at Westminster Culinary Society, we aim to set up a comfortable and enjoyable environment where we all can come together to develop our knowledge of the principles and presentation of food and to encourage a greater passion and understanding of the world of culinary arts!

“Although short, the time I spent as Head of Westminster Culinary Society was very meaningful. Since we started off during Covid, our activities were limited to online Bake-Alongs for the first few months, it worked out due to everyone’s understanding and patience, and was also a learning experience for me since teaching others was still new to me. We had very successful Bake Sales too in which everyone showed a lot of enthusiasm and support with volunteering to help me out. I’m excited to see how this society will grow in the future!”

“As a member of Westminster Culinary Society, I developed a new skill of baking and cooking. Culinary was always a passion of mine and joining the Culinary Society really helped boost my interest.

Learning and perfectly executing new recipes really helped me develop further love and interest for culinary arts.

Thank you Westminster for hosting the Culinary Society!”

“Culinary Society provides an outlet to those students, who are fond of cooking, to practice and hone their skills and to have a community of people who enjoy the same things.  I was new to this school and I joined this society to get out of my comfort zone. It was definitely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made as it made me more open to new people and events.”
