2 Adventurous Years
Westminster is one of the best schools in Islamabad for A-levels. At Westminster we prepare students for entry to higher education by offering an extensive range of AS and A level courses.
A two-year course, A-Level is a rigorous programme that encourages high academic standards. An A-Level consists of two parts, AS (Advanced Subsidiary) and A2. AS-Level represents the first half of an A-Level course but may also be taken as a free-standing qualification. A Level is typically a two-year course.
Students at A-Level are put through a comprehensive and rigorous schedule of academics, co-curricular activities, internships, teachers’ assistance ships, community and social work programs. The aim surely is to promote a healthy balance between curricular and co-curricular activities and to ensure excellent grades in internal as well as external examination.
The ultimate goal, of course, is to facilitate placement at some of the best universities around the world. To this end, a team of qualified professionals is present on campus to guide students with all aspects of university entrance, which, includes: selection of career path and most suitable universities, application procedures and deadlines, personal statements and references, preparation for entrance tests (e.g. SAT) and interviews.
