Student leadership is arguably the most beneficial extracurricular activity a person can perform while in school. Westminster Student Government exists to enhance student life by empowering students through involvement in student organizations and the school’s shared governance process.

The experience gained from a leadership role will be valuable for a lifetime. A student leader is thrown into a learning environment that encourages hands-on experience, planning, decision making, communicating, and working as a team.

Elections for student government positions are held each year in early October. Our elected student government helps share student’s ideas, interests and concerns with teachers and school management. They often also help raise funds for school-wide activities, including social events and community projects.
