The students of A-Levels at Westminster Academy Islamabad proved their spirit and enthusiasm by successfully completing the 5 km run at the Twin City Half Marathon – the first-ever event held on the metro track – on Sunday, December 7, 2025. A group of nearly 30 students took part in the run, showcasing excellent energy throughout the event.
This exciting opportunity was brought to the students by Westminster Adventure Club in collaboration with Westminster Environment Club, encouraging students to take part in a fun, healthy activity while being part of a unique, eco-friendly initiative.
More than just a race, the event carried a deeper purpose – to promote healthier lifestyles and highlight sustainable urban mobility by encouraging wider use of the metro system, helping reduce traffic pollution and environmental impact.
